Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using The Guide for AC:NH ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including free and premium users.
Description of Service
The Guide for AC:NH is a companion app for Animal Crossing: New Horizons that provides:
- Information about in-game items, villagers, fish, bugs, and other content
- Tools for tracking collections and progress
- Reference guides and tips
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo. Animal Crossing and all related trademarks are property of Nintendo.
User Accounts
The App does not require user account creation. All data is stored locally on your device.
If you use premium features purchased through Apple's App Store, your purchase is managed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
In-App Purchases
Premium Features
The App offers optional premium features available through a one-time in-app purchase. This purchase removes advertisements and unlocks premium functionality.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.
Restore Purchases
You can restore your previous purchases at any time through the Settings menu in the App. This allows you to access premium features on new devices or after reinstalling the App.
Advertisements
The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of these advertisements.
You may remove advertisements by purchasing the premium version of the App.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
The App's design, code, and original content are owned by ByLoot and protected by intellectual property laws.
Game Content
Animal Crossing: New Horizons content, including images, names, and game data, is the property of Nintendo. We use this content for informational purposes under fair use principles.
Third-Party Content
Game data and images are sourced from Nookipedia, a community-driven wiki. We acknowledge and appreciate their contribution to the Animal Crossing community.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent any security features or access restrictions
- Use automated systems to access or scrape the App's content
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The information in the App will be accurate or complete
- The App will meet your specific requirements
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BYLOOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past twelve months.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
